AI Grid
Understanding risk
Etwa 6 Min.
Every trade involves risk. Before using AI Grid or AI Strategy, you should know where losses can come from.
Risks specific to AI Grid
- Price drops below the range: This is the primary risk of AI Grid. During a sustained decline, the grid keeps buying. Position cost exceeds current price, and when the cycle settles, the result is a loss. When the AI identifies one-sided price action, it adjusts the range or pauses orders—but cannot prevent all losses.
- Futures leverage: A futures AI Grid magnifies both gains and losses. In extreme market conditions, a forced liquidation can occur.
- Fee erosion: With too many levels, the spread per fill is small and fees can consume most of the return.
Risks specific to AI Strategy
- Wrong directional call: When the strategy judges that price will rise and it falls instead, a loss results.
- Model breakdown: When market structure changes, patterns that worked before may stop working.
Risks common to both
- Market volatility: Crypto asset prices can fall sharply in a short period.
- Technical and operational risk: Failures at an exchange, on a blockchain network, or on the platform can delay or prevent trades.
- Historical figures: All return data shown is historical. It does not indicate future results. SleeplessNode does not guarantee any return.
Protecting your account and funds
- Only invest money you can afford to lose. Do not borrow to invest.
- For a first allocation, use the minimum amount for one cycle. Add more once you understand how it works.
- Enable two-factor authentication. Do not share your password or verification codes with anyone. SleeplessNode staff will never ask you for a code.
- Be skeptical of any claim of "capital protection," "guaranteed profit," or "high yield with no risk."
