AI Grid
How to choose an AI Grid
Circa 6 min
SleeplessNode offers multiple AI Grids, each with a different pair, exchange, and parameters. Here is how to evaluate them.
Trading pair
The trading pair determines which asset the grid trades. Major coins like BTC and ETH have strong liquidity and relatively moderate swings, making them better suited for a first allocation. Smaller-cap coins swing harder and are more likely to break out of their range.
Spot or futures
A spot AI Grid uses only the money you invest to buy and sell spot holdings. It does not borrow. Maximum loss is limited to your principal. A futures AI Grid may use leverage, magnifying both gains and losses. Start with a spot AI Grid.
Max drawdown
Max drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough decline in the stated time window. For example, a max drawdown of −12% means price once fell 12% from its high during that period. It reflects how much you might be underwater at the worst point during the holding period. A larger number means a more volatile path.
Last-30-day return and win rate
Last-30-day return is the cumulative result of this AI Grid over the past 30 days. Win rate is the proportion of profitable trades or cycles. Both are historical figures. They help you understand how the grid has performed, but do not indicate future results.
Amount to invest
Every AI Grid has a minimum investment. For a first allocation, run one cycle at the minimum. Review the settlement record in the Assets page to understand how returns and fees are composed, then decide whether to increase the amount.
